Hey, I’ll be sharing my recent trip to Wales! I went there with my friends. First, we gathered at Burton to get the car key as we rented a car. Then one of my friend volunteered to be the driver for the whole trip as long as he don’t need to pay for the petrol (pretty smart actually). We went to pick up our other friends at Wales as they work there.

The first place we visited was Angel Bay (Porth Dyniewaid). It was a very beautiful place and very windy as well.

We were walking along this path while enjoying the scenery. It was a good weather!

There were some wild flowers along the path to Angel Bay.

We went for a mini hike and get to enjoy this view.

And this view as well at the peak of the hill. I didn’t take pic of the ocean because there was nothing there. No sunrise nor sunset, hence nothing interesting to be captured.

So basically this the Angel Bay, I promise you,it look much more nicer than this picture. I was lucky as I got to see a seal as well!

The next place we went was Llandudno. It’s one of the town in Wales. We went to eat our lunch here. It’s a beautiful town as it is by the seaside. There was a lot of seagulls as well. There was some busy traffic but we manage to park our car and just walk around the town.

Somehow we met our other groups of friends! These are all my friends from back in university. What are the odds?

I feel like this is the place where one direction film the You and I music video!

Next we went to Conwy Castle, but sadly because it was after 5 PM, the castle was already closed. As we all know, most of the attractions in the UK closes after 5. So we just wander around the castle.

It was a hot weather, so we get some ice-cream to soothe our throat.

The silhouette of the castle.

Near the castle, there’s The Smallest House in Great Britain. I thought I should just include this one here as well.

We finishes our Day 1 with setting up the tent. We went to camp at a place called Bryn Gloch Caravan and Camping park. It was my first time camping. It was a good experience. The campsite has a proper toilet, shower and even clean water. We chose a campsite with a power point, hence we can charge our phones and turn on the portable electric heater. It was one of my friend idea to camp instead of staying in an airbnb. He brought all the equipment and I would definitely go camping again! The girls were staying in the caravan! It was a very cozy caravan and they cooked dinner for us! I’ll show you the picture of the caravan later!

On Day 2, we went for a hike! We went to Snowdonia. We choose the pyg and miner trail! This is us before snowdonia!

This is us after snowdonia!! I never want to do this again! It was raining so heavy, we can’t see any nice view and the wind was so strong as well! Not to mention that we’re all wet and cold! Next time I’ll most likely just take the train instead of hiking! If I’m not mistaken the train took around 1 hour and you’ll still get to enjoy the view. Nevertheless, it was a good experience.

All we saw was the fog!

The lake at snowdonia, it would look so nice from above but because of the fog, there no pics from above. Plus at this point I just want to go back, get a shower and go to sleep. The hike has a total of around 13KM. Oh and I forgot to mention that we park our car somewhere far and took a bus to go to the hiking starting point. It was much more expensive to park at the starting point.

This is us the next morning after Snowdonia ready for Day 3!

We went to a Waterfall spot in Wales. It is called Aber Falls. This is just a bridge, there’s a river underneath it.

You have to walk a bit to reach the waterfall. It’s around 25 to 30 minutes walk if you walk like a grandma. But it will be around 20 minutes walk if you didn’t stop at all to take pictures but that defeat the purpose of this trip, which is to capture as much picture as I can.

Aber Falls when we’re halfway there.

The waterfall up close! It was a nice walk but we’re still tired from yesterday hike.

Just a picture of me being a professional photographer.

Next, we went to Traeth Llanddwyn. It’s basically a beach! This is my first time going to a beach in UK! The water was freaking cold!

The view was very mesmerising. We went in the evening, hence there were not many visitor by that time.

The beach from different perspective. I would like to go here again if I were to go to Wales again! Maybe next time I would have one of those drone so that I can capture the images from bird’s-eye view!

As you can see, the seawater is very clear and the beach is very clean!

There are some old buildings remnant along the beach. There were even horses but my camera battery run out before I could take their pictures.

The Boys during the trip! A very inappropriate picture of Syahmi and Adam but I can assure you that everyone in this picture is straight as fuck. I can also assure you that in this picture, I’m the only one single and will be for the next maybe 10 fucking years if I’m still alive. In the middle with a gangsta face is Mukhlis, he wore a girl’s hat but he is definitely married! At my right is a new addition to the Geng, I’m still confused whether I should call him Izzul or Izzat or Halili’s BF. Let’s stick with the third nickname then, easier to understand.

The lighthouse was probably the highlight of the beach. Then we all went back to our campsite and made Barbecue. There was no picture of the barbecue because I’m charging my camera. Just one very important lesson, DO NOT WEAR YOUR SMART WATCH WHILE GRILLING! My watch strap smells like grilled chicken for the whole week!

This is us on our last day in Wales!

I don’t remember which day was this but we went to a fancy restaurant! These two are my forever Kakak Bawang.

by the way, that’s the lake that I was talking about. Please don’t mind our picture of struggling to even smile with this extreme weather. There were many hikers that actually went hypothermic and have to be rescued!

And that’s the end of our trip to Wales. Everyone contributed in their own way but many thanks for Hasha for planning the trip for us! Stay tune for more travel post!!
