Hello people. I don’t really have anything interesting to share for this week but I have to be consistent in making content. Hence, I’ll be sharing pictures of me wearing different outerwear and some nonsense photos plus me talking about things I did this weekend. Trust me, it’s nothing interesting or worth reading. On a side note, please don’t mind my poor sense of fashion.

I just attended a talk about applying to GP training. I wanted to apply to GP just as a backup plan in case any of my top choice application to specialty training got rejected. After the talk I decided to do some reading about histopathology as I wanted to get a rough idea before doing taster week in that specialty next week for 5 days. I’m excited to be attending autopsy for the first time as well and hopefully I can get the experience of preparing a biopsy slides. I feel like applying for paediatrics as well but still in hesitation, don’t know if I can deal with the safeguarding part of that specialty.

I recently bought this New Balance hooded jacket at TK Maxx. For those that don’t know , TK Maxx sells designer and selected branded products at a much cheaper price. I normally went to the children section as I have the body of a 13 year old kid, the mind of a toddler and the attention span of a demented grandpa. I’m pretty sure after one to two month the jacket won’t be as clean as this. So, let’s just save this photos here while it’s still clean.

And this is me after studying about the causes of diarrhoea on ELFH. Gastroenterology is my least favourite specialty, so I always avoided patient with GI symptoms. But one day, one of my junior asked me about management of Crohn’s disease and I was clueless on what to actually do. I was also once asked to do a blood gas on patient with ?cirrhosis and I don’t know how to manage them as well after doing the blood gas with the result of increasing lactate 😦 . Hence, the studying. My brain was fried just from minimal studying. Bring me back my medical student brain. Too much doctoring has reduced my brain capacity haha jk.

This is me in my autumn wear. Since it’s getting colder, I’ll start wearing my knitwear. Sometimes if the temperature dropped too much, I’ll add a heat-tech as well to keep myself warm. Umbrella, waterproof jacket or windbreaker, waterproof shoes and waterproof bag are among the essentials during autumn season. It literally rains on most day and the wind is just crazy strong. Like the previous clothes, these are also bought at children section. Bought the knitwear at Primark and the jean at H&M. Autumn are my favourite season because the transition from green to yellow/orange are just beautiful in a way. Apart from the crunchy dried leaves when you step on them, I can also get amazing shots in Autumn.

In between my studies, I managed to do some research. Not clinical research or audit research, but research on where to go on my next annual leave. What a joke?! Despite the little to zero money in my bank account and my laziness to do Locum, I don’t even know why I’m looking at another country to go on a holiday. I was watching YouTube video about Marrakesh. Do you guys think going to Morocco during winter is a good holiday trip? Please suggest me any good place to go during Winter with a reasonable budget! Europe or Iceland sounds good as well but I might need to buy a proper winter cloth then.

This is my sport sweater. I usually wear it when I go for a jog. Yep bought at a kid’s section at Tk Maxx. Sports that I do are running, badminton occasionally, bouldering once in a blue moon, rope skipping on days I have the energy but too lazy to leave the house, hiking if someone planned the trip for me, volleyball when I was doing A-level, Tennis for fun when I was in high-school and in a previous life I was a football and rugby athlete (believe it if you want). If I were to enter olympics and procrastinating was a sport, I’d win a gold medal.

An attempt to look like a Hellboy (If you guys watch the movie you would knew). Other things that I did today was eat. I cook instant noodle, curry flavour, Maggi brand for lunch. And now I’m hungry and eating every last of my remaining tangerine. I ate a whole packet of Oreo in an instant as well and a few chocolate crepes that I bought from Liddle. For those that don’t know, Liddle is like Mydin. Cheap and got all the essential except for halal meat. But the seafoods are halal I guess because you don’t have to Sembelih them. Those from Malaysia would know what Mydin is, unless you’re some spoilt brat that only goes to Jaya Grocer.

As you can see in the above pictures, I have two hobbies. Reading and sleeping. I either read on my bed or sleep or both. Even men can multitask as well. To be honest, the bottom picture looks like I just broke up with my imaginary non-existing girlfriend. Yes, I’m single but no longer searching. I believe the right one will magically appears in front of my doorstep. Yes, I’m that kind of guy. The grey sweater is my sleeping sweater. Bought it at Primark at kid’s section and it comes with a sweat pants as well but I’m too lazy to change my pants for the picture.

I promise this is the last one. This is me in my windbreaker that I wear to work on most days. Bought it at a kid’s section at SportsDirect store. The perks of being short is that I get to wear kids cloths which are much cheaper than the adult clothes. The only downside is that sometimes the design is too childish, so there’s limited choices. I even almost bought a Naruto shirt last time but I just had to come to my senses and realised I’m a grown ass adult. I just realised that I have Itadori’s sweater as well but let’s save that that for next time. Alright guys, that’s the end. I hope you guys are ready to go to work or attend classes tomorrow! Just don’t forget to get your Monday morning coffee or tea (Tea’s for loser, sorry). I heard it’s a good prophylaxis for Monday’s blues. Thanks for reading, bye!
